Girl's Daily Slippers (from fabrics scraps)

I can bet, many of you sometimes wonder, what to do with the fabric leftovers. Well, honestly I had the same problem as well. Struggled with lots and lots of scraps hanging around. Oh, and that neverending mess! Untill I made up a place where I could put them and make them wait for the next re-use (for better or worse times :-p ). I hate throwing leftovers away, because I never know, when I may use them again. Sounds familiar? For example, to sew traditional patchwork plaid, what takes ages of course. But not this - perfect for busy ones. Well, I re-made the original pattern of "The Mila Baby Shoes" from Fleeting Thing and turned it into laced Girl's Daily Slippers. Not bad, uhm?

Założę się, że wiele z Was czasem zastanawia się, co zrobić z resztkami materiałów. Szczerze mówiąc, ja też miałam do niedawna podobny problem. Zmagałam się z wielką stertą ścinków walających się po kątach.  I jeszcze ten niekończący się bałagan! W końcu upchnęłam je gdzieś na "czarną" godzinę. Osobiście nie znoszę wyrzucać resztek, bo nigdy nie wiem, kiedy znów mi się do czegoś przydadzą. Brzmi znajomo? Można wówczas uszyć z nich np. tradycyjny patchworkowy pled, ale to zajmuje całe wieki. W przecieństwie do tego projektu, idealnego dla zapracowanych. Oto nieco przerobiony przeze mnie oryginalny wzór na buciki "The Mila Baby Shoes" od Fleeting Thing. Wyszły mi z tego sznurowane dzieczęce kapciuszki. Nie takie złe, prawda?

Wydają się bardzo proste i urocze, i takie właśnie są. Niezwykle łatwe do uszycia i niesamowicie wygodne dla dziewczynki. Użyj tutorialu i zrób takie samodzielnie.
