Not "just another" Jeans Bag!

A już na pewno nie jedna z wielu. Bo chociaż powstała dwie doby temu, to mimo wszystko jest torbą "z historią". Przedtem dumnie prezentowała się na wieszaku jako ciemno niebieskie jeansowe ogrodniczki marki Levi's. Ale potem wpadła w moje ręce i przeszła istne piekło. Torturom nie było końca, a mimo to dzielnie zniosła odbarwianie cuchnącym wybielaczem. Trzymała fason podczas prania i wirowania. Skapitulowała dopiero pod naporem ostrzy nożyczek. Pociachałam ją beznamiętnie i wykorzystałam każdy kawałeczek do cna. 

Spokojnie, to tylko sceny z mojej domowej manufaktury :-) A jeśli mowa o prawdziwym przemyśle odzieżowym, to zawsze zastanawiałam się, co by było gdyby jeans w ogóle nie istniał. A jego wynalazca - Levi Strauss - nie wpadłby na pomysł stworzenia tkaniny "roboczej" i w końcu legendarnych już ogrodniczek. Czy świat mody, gwiazdy Hollywood czy fashionistki obeszłyby się bez modnych "blue jeans"? Z pewnością nie. I ja również. Tym bardziej, że jeans ma obecnie tak wiele odmian, iż stał się wręcz tkaniną uniwersalną. Postanowiłam więc wykorzystać tę jego cechę i uszyć sobie nietuzinkową torbę. A że na metce spodni, których do tego celu użyłam, widniał napis "Levi's", siłą rzeczy powstała torba z historią :-)

And it's definitely not one of all. Although I made it two days ago, however it's a bag "with a history". It used to be dark blue Levi's overalls proudly hanging in a closeth. But afterwards it fell into my hands and went through a real hell. It bravely beared never endig tortures, even bleaching in stinky chemicals. It also kept calm while washing and swirling. However it surrendered after pressure of scissors blades. I cut it impassively and used every single piece of it.

Calm down, these are only scenes from my home manufactory :-) And for the real clothing industry speaking, I've always wondered what if jeans fabric didn't appear at all. And its inventor - Levi Strauss - wouldn't make up a worker's fabric and those legendary waist overalls. Could the whole fahion world, hollywood stars and fashionistas do without so fahionable "blue jeans"? Probably not. Neither could I. There are all the more so many types of jeans these days, so it easily became a versatile fabric. Therefore I decided to use its versatality and sew an extraordinary bag. So, when I used Levi's labeled jeans overalls to sew, in effect it turned out to be a bag with a history :-)

Pierwszy dzień szkoły...

To było nieuniknione. Wczoraj po raz pierwszy moje dziecię wstąpiło w szkolne szeregi. Pomijając wszelkie moje osobiste przemyślenia i opinie na temat wczesnej edukacji, nie mam wątpliwości, że moja pociecha wkrótce wzbogaci się o ogrom doświadczeń i wstępnie pozna, czym jest socjalizowanie się. Za tym idą również wszystkie inne mniej przyjemne aspekty, jakimi są bycie ocenianym i porównywanym. Próbuję sobie to jednak tłumaczyć tym, że przecież dzieci nie znają innego sposobu na poznanie otoczenia, emocji i ludzi. Cokolwiek bym o tym wszystkim nie myślała, wierzę, że moja córa szybko odnajdzie się w nowym dla siebie środowisku. Z całym jej wrodzonym entuzjazmem... i nowym plecakiem :-)

It was unavoidable. Yesterday for the first time my child crossed the Preschool threshold. Overlooking my all personal opinions and reflections on early education, I have absolutely no doubt, that my little gal is going to acquire a huge amont of experience and put her first steps into socializing. That also provides all the less pleasant aspects as being judged and compared. I try to explain it to myself, that there are no other better ways for children to get to know new places, emotion and people. Whatever I think about it, I strongly believe that my daughter will quickly find herself in the new environment. With all her natural enthusiasm... and a pretty new backpack :-)
